If it's a contact sport, then contacts are better so you don't risk getting your glasses broken. If you sweat, contacts are better because glasses will slide down your nose. You have better peripheral vision with contacts. I can't think of any case where glasses are better. I like my contacts much much better than my glasses.

I had glasses when I was younger and they would always get broken playing sports, or a lens would pop out, it was annoying. Then I got contacts and I no longer had to worry about my glasses getting broken, I could just play the game, and be physical when I had to. I've played sports with contacts for years and not only is it much better than wearing glasses, I can't find any drawback to playing sports with contacts in.

There are special sport glasses that you can get made with your prescription in it. Or, you can wear over your contacts. It may sound weird, but I have seen many cases of people getting severe eye injuries because they weren't wearing the proper protection. The sport glasses are usually pretty cheap, usually around $50. A small price to pay for your precious eyes.

contacts are much better for sports and physical activities, i currently wear contacts right now and i love them. I use my glasses mostly when I am home or when I am too lazy to wear my contacts...lol also with contacts, you won't have the risk of breaking glasses and paying 300 dollars for a new one...my glasses cost $450 which is really expensive for glasses. Contacts won't smear or have any prints so that is an advantage over glasses...

contacts are better. Mostly because if you are wearing glasses there is a risk of the lenses shattering and causing damage to your eyes. Also getting hit with a frame on your face can also cut up your face
