Cosmetic surgery is not covered by health insurance. The only time it is covered is if you are disfigured from an accident, or a doctor finds it necessary for your health purposes. Even then the companies make you go through a big hassle with all the paper work, and they submit it to their companies legal staff. So I doubt it. But you can't lose anything by trying. There is one route you can take. I know I also was extremely full breasted like you as a 13 year old. I was very subconscious of my self. It had a great psychological effect on me. I was very embarrassed. Maybe if you go to a psychiatrist and he finds that it is impeding your mental health you can fight it out with your insurance company. Good luck to you. I know where your coming from.

Yes I would... Plastic surgery is looked upon as a vain persons option and in most respects this is evident but there are so many people out there that turn to plastic surgery because they are genuinely miserable with their bodies which in turn effects their health and can lead to serious depression and all sorts of problems...

There are better ways of coming out of obesity than plastic surgery. So, I don't think I will go to a plastic surgeon unless there is some life threatening problem.

Only if I could afford it. That is not something covered by an medical insurance, Medicare, etc. I know because I was going to have lapband surgery and learned about it from a plastic surgeon at a seminar.

first of all plastic surgery is all about WANTING to look better, younger, slimmer etc.often there is NOTHING wrong, you know but a person suffering from obesity has a SERIOUS problem and needs counseling FIRST because if problem isnt solved that person woll eat AGAIN even after surgery, this wont help for your mind after all.In case of obesity such person has to change his life-style/eating-habits completely, surgery to fix whats left behind

Yeah, but if you still live an unhealthly lifestyle as far as diet and exercise go, the surgery will do little good for you in the long run. Relatives of mine have had various such surgeries but still weigh over 300lbs.

I would get it just because I am vain, unfortunately I have more important things to spend my money on like food. Go figure. I'll probably get obese cause I eat. Pick your poison I suppose. : )
