Incredibly unlikely to the point of impossibility. When you die, your brain dies with you. It decays, like all organic matter and nothing else could possibly come of it.

As far as Hebrew and Christian scriptures go, there seems to be evidence that there is an afterlife. This is difficult to prove scientifically, however. Like Tom Petty said in 'Learning to fly':
"...So I started out...for I don't know where.
I guess I'll know...when I get there.
I'm learning to fly...but I ain't got wings.
Comin' down is the hardest thing..."
Job asked the same question: but the passages preceeding it seem to indicate he already knew the answer:
Job 14:7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
Job 14:8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;
Job 14:9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.
Job 14:10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
Job 14:11 As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:
Job 14:12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.
Job 14:13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
Jesus said there was an afterlife, and He was in sharp disagreement with some of His contemporaries:
Mat 22:31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
Mat 22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Mat 22:33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
Mar 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
(It is interesting to note the number of the verse...)
Luk 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
Luk 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
Luk 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
One last passage:
Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Luk 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
You may want to take a look at Lev 25 and Lev 26, as I believe this offers a glimpse into what will take place.

I believe so, otherwise, what's the point in living at all? I would have gone off doing something else if I thought you never get anything out of life.

.
we are the part of this universe and hence
we will be again here only,
after the death,
one can not migrate from the existing system as
being the part of it,
