honey & nuts or fruit put on top of desserts
jam or nutella doloped on top or spread inside a dessert

Take the "Apple Betty" or "Peach Crumble" out of the oven and while it's hot, scoop some into a bowl. Then scoop your favorite vanilla ice cream on top of that. By the time you've finished your meal, the ice cream will have softened just right for eating with the hot "Crumble."
I have some Ice Cream desserts that are equally as good..... enhanced with spirits.
BTW, I never include oatmeal on my Crumbles, Grunts, Bettys or Crisps.
