I saw a commercial for a "Singing Bee" show with Wayne Brady on FOX a few days ago (I think it was for FOX). Then, I saw ABC and NBC come out with their own versions. How come they're all doing the same show?

I've often wondered that as well, like with Trading Spouses and Wife Swap. I've seen the commercials for NBC's Singing Bee with Joey Fatone, it looks pretty interesting. Haven't seen the the commercials for Fox's Don't Forget the Lyrics with Wayne Brady but I seen it in the guide lineup. I guess the networks are trying to see if they put the same show on each channel, which channel people will choose to watch it on.

Not every network. Just two. Sometimes ideas are duplicated. That's the problem with having too few people having to generate some many ideas.
