i know it's not a stye because a stye is on the tip of eyelid where the eyelash meets the brow. This is like a pimple on your face with puss, but inside my lower eyelid.(like when u pull ur eyelid out and flip it over) then u can see it well. it started in the corner of my eye but it was a bump inside the skin now it moved over a bit and u can see it, with puss and all. It's really gross and itchy and a little painful, what could this be??

It actually is a type of sty/stye. Called an internal hordeolum, it is a more serious form of a stye. It originates in a gland called the meibomian beneath the surface of the middle of the eyelid. Because it's buried in the central part of the eyelid, an internal hordeolum is more painful than the external kind. While the pus in an external stye will usually drain on its own, an internal one won't. Most likely, you will have to visit a doctor to have it opened and drained. Mine popped on its own, and I had to use a Q-Tip and saline solution to get the pus out. I hated this thing.

A chalazion is slightly different than a stye in that they are usually painless apart from the tenderness caused when they swell up. Also, they usually affect the upper eyelid rather than the lower.

It is a stye or sty dear..it is an acute infection of one or more glands at the edge of the eyelid or UNDER it..It usually begins with redness, tenderness, and pain at the edge of the eyelid. The best treatment for this is to apply hot compresses for 10 minutes several times a day followed by a gentle eyelid massage. A doctor may have to open it to drain the pus because stye rarely ruptures by itself.

It's a stye. A stye doesn't need to be on the edge of your eyelid. It's all the same stuff. A stye is just a pimple.

it was strange i found this, because i'm actually dealing with a similar situation right now. also, it's possible for styes to be on the inside of your eyelid. but since yours is pussing, and is itchy, i think you need to get it looked at. it's probably a little infection, but it might get worse if you just leave it be.

1. do you wear contacts?
2. if so, don't leave them in overnight.
3. take them out and clean them with solution regularly, like eye specialists say you should do.

i hope this helps!

I'm not a doctor or close to it but my aunt had a dimilar problem its sort of a sac that resembles a pimple and the doctore usually does a small painless in office removal try calling an optomitrist if your general doctor has no solutions... they may even prescribe an oral antibiotic or a drop solution or even a salve... good luck and ouch i'm sorry that has to hurt

I have one now. It is on the bottom of my eyelid on the inside. It looks like a fleck of pepper, but it s white. That s how small it is. But it is very irritating, a kind of constant pinching sensation. It just started a day ago.. Glad I read is because the advice of a warm compress helps so much. I will continue to use one (just a wash cloth as hot as I can t stand it). Hoping not to see the doc, such a pain. But if need be - so be it. Thanks for your help all!
