I'm 29 my husband is 28. We have one daughter and another on the way. Our jobs are okay but not enough either. I don't want to live this way forever because I know we can do better. After I've paid off this car I'm buying I am going back to school also. The car was a mistake but I gotta pay for it. He pays everything else. We plan to take turns so I might go first and then him or vice versa. Just think about what kind of future you want to give to your son. I of course want to help my daughters in every way possible with college etc. I want them to have a better future than what I have been given. Just find ways to live cheap to get through this time and remember why you are doing it. You will have to budget and not go shopping for things that are not neccessary for some time. When you finish it will be well worth it.

well just do a budget. Try lessing your spending. I have two children and i do not work and my husband works and gets paid 11 an hour and i go to college. So it is possible if you want to go do it then do it. But you will have to make scarafices to do that. maybe work and go to school and only take one or two classes a week or if you need finaical aid take two classes that is the minum for finaicial aid. You have to have at least two classes. There should be a lottery which will help pay for some classes if you do not quilfy for finacial aid. Going to college is so worht it. You will still see your child grow up. it is only a couple of hrs a day. good luck.

Time and money management is the answer. You should know your priority. If you think you really need to go back to school, either cut unnecessary expenses in your family or look again for means that will give you much higher income than your are receiving now. Also, try consulting your other half what's bothering you, who knows your other half will be of great help to you. Goodluck!

It is very hard, but it can be done. I went to school full time and worked full time. There are grants that are aviable that you can get. You will miss alot of time with your son for a couple of years, but the benifits will pay off in the end. GO FOR IT. You can do it.

It is never too late to study and progress in life. There are instances where people have studied and progressed in life despite being under financial and family pressures. It depends on how you react to the pressures in life either you succumb or you rise above it and achieve something great in life.If a person achieves something in life without ever being under pressure then what is so great in his/her achievement. But if a person achieves something despite being under financial or family pressures or under some stress and strain and fights against all odds and tensions then that is a great achievement. Now it is up to you to decide what way to go?

Do it!!! It will pay off in the long run. Just accept that you'll have to put in a lot of hard work-at school, at work and with your family. i agree, you'll have to do part-time!

Maybe you can both go to work and go to school online. It would give you the flexibility to do both while being at home with your son.
