Marinara Dipping Sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
5 tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/4 cup water
2 teaspoons chopped fresh basil
salt and pepper to taste
In a large skillet, heat oil and saute garlic until light brown and softened. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Stir in tomatoes, sugar, water, basil, and salt and pepper.
Bring contents of the pan to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for approximately 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve warm.

NO. However, Contadina makes several varieties of pizza sauce. I think you'll find these very similar in both taste and thickness to the sauces provided by restaurants. My kids favorites are the 4 cheese and pepperoni. In many stores it isn't in the same aisle as the spaghetti sauce. Just open can, spoon some into a custard cup and heat in microwave.

depends on your taste. everyone is different. Try starting with bottled sauce, then start adding seasonings that you like (a little at a time) work your way up to a heirloom tomato reduction sauce with truffels and cold pressed olive oil with a touch of aged balsamic. enjoy If you are adventours add a fillet or two of anchovies

Or you can use Ranch dressing to dip your cheese stick in. You will need : 2 cups of milk,
2 cups of real mayo [use the real thing and it will taste better] and the seasoning mix you can buy at the store. Mix until well blended - and you will have a quart of fresh dressing.
Enjoy ...
