OK, so I really, really like this girl. She's one of my best friends, and we've known each other for a couple years. Back in may on a band trip in canada, I started liking her as more than a friend. The problem is she already has a boyfriend, and I don't know how things are going between them at all, good or bad. A few weeks later, we were at this carnival (Said bf wasnt there) and on the zipper we ended up holding hands. I was all guilty and stuff for a while, and then because of that she figured out I liked her. A few weeks later, I told her that it was just a little crush and I didn't like her like that anymore. The thing is, I still really really like her and can't stop thinking about her, even though I just saw her yesterday all afternoon and spent all day Monday with her. What should I do????? Am I just messed up and only like people I can't get since I had a similar problem b4?? I was thinking, should I just send her an email now telling her i still like her?

I've asked 2 other girls out in the past, but one didn't work out past the first date (a dysfunctional school dance) and the other said no (but her friends say she has commitment problems and liked me anyway). I've never done anything more than hug a girl, and have no clue what do do at all in this area, and have DEFINITELY never kissed anyone.

Also, I don't want to screw things up, cuz the whole handholding zipper thing got out b4 (While she had her current bf) and for weeks ppl called me as*hole and called her a whore slut ho the works. I don't want that sort of thing to happen again...

I'm sort of in the same position and have been debating either giving up on liking her or going for her. Every time i even start thinking about making a move i always thing of what she would do and if she did leave him for me. What would stop her from doing the same thing to me? I'm a nice guy so i don't even want to ruin her reputation. you could try waiting it out a little if you like her a lot.

dont use email. i was in the same situation as u last year. your always going to like her as long as your this close to her. you can either, make a move on her and tell her face to face you like her. or you can stop hanging out with her, move on from her as a friend and crush, and you will stop liking her. good luck. i feel your pain.
