MY 1st fav handgun is a nice 1911... kimber, Wilsoncombat,Springfield armory, S&W and the older colts... Been around forever and a day is a great work horse I have put about 20xxx rounds through 1911's and can only remeber a few jams... Good way to spend $500-3000

The 2nd i think is the *****F N FIVE SEVEN*****
FN 5.7 the ultimate combat/self defense pistol in my estimation shoots the fast LOW RECOIL 5.7x28mm HIGH PENETRATION rounds that is very accurate at a long distance.. even the hollow points are very penetrable.
With low recoil and high penetration (plus a 20 round mag) you put this gun in hands of a unskilled user they will have the ability for faster follow up shots and engage multiple targets easy and accurately. Police treat suspects with these guns in there hands as if the have a rifle.. And take cover. This is how accurate these hand guns are.
5.7x28mm round shoots about 2000 fps (feet per second)
45 acp shoots about 850 fps....
You also can get a 10 round mag extension.. 30 rounds in a semi auto Pistol...is pretty deadly.....

My Favorite is the Glock 19. It's reliable accurate, durable, and has a beauty that one can appreciate only if you truly believe form follows function. Ammo is cheap, It has more rounds through it than I can remember or count and has not let me down except when a novice female shooter did not grip the gun tightly enough while firing.

I WANT a Glock model 20 in 10mm with green frame and 6" long slide conversion! The power of the .41 magnum, 15 rounds per magazine, would make an awesome hunting/camping gun!

Here is the sexy, sexy pic!

The most nicest and cleanest hand gun I've personly seen is a 22 pistol that uses 22 Lr.(long range) bullets and it was from Bass Pro Shop.

I personally only have two handguns, a Walther PPK and a S&W 629, out of those, the PPK is my favorite. It's an older one that my Grandpa carried on the Polizei in Deutschland. It's just a nice little pistol.

But what I have been looking to get is the 20th Anniversary Beretta M9 ( http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=75417418 ). Now that is a firearm.

It's hard to say but I like S&W revolvers. My favorites ar the 642, 617, and 686. All around, the S&W 686 is probably one of the nicest and most practical guns to own. The 642 is better for conceal carry.

S&W .357 Magnum "model 19" Revolver. Small frame so the gun isnt a brick to carry, fires on time every time no matter the ammo, and its just plain ole MEAN!

This coming from a person with a S&W 500, I still love the model 19.

If you are going for an automatic that is of the finest quality and looks the most high tec then look no farther than Tanfoglio. They perform even better than they look. Built for accurate speed shooting.

In revolvers I prefer Rugers. Super Redhawk for Double Action or Super Blackhawk for Single Action, in a heavy caliber, .44 Mag or .45 Long Colt

As far as pistols go, I'm a Glock fan. A safe, uncomplicated weapon. Load it, aim it, pull the trigger... it fires, every time. Don't pull the trigger, it won't go off. Not so many safeties that it slows you down in a pinch. Rugged and reliable. As far as caliber goes, I personally own a 9mm, but am planning on upgrading to a .40 S&W real soon.
