Hey how old are you? That may have an impact on how fast/slow you can lose weight and how intense you can exercise if that is even an option for you. I am in the military (Navy) and a lot of people slightly overweight have been kicked out lately. The diet that is getting dramatic results is called "Eat to Live". Basically you adjust your diet to all vegetables and whole grains - read the book. My friend lost weight and his cholesterol and fitness level dramatically improved! Good luck - you can definitely do it once you make up your mind.

Sometimes you just have to do it, and the motivation will follow.
Exercise as soon as you get home from work, a few minutes with a skipping rope before you shower and go to bed will be a fantastic start, as for the pizza, try taking a meal you prepared at home to work with you and eating that instead.
In basic terms you need to burn more calories than you eat to loose weight. Any exercise is better than no exercise, 3 minutes with the skipping rope is all you can manage then that is fine. Baby steps.

Get a bike and bike to and from work. Bring apples with you and eat those. Drink eight glasses of water a day, and especially when you feel hungry. Cut down to one slice of plain cheese pizza a day. Go to www.weightwatchers online to understand how what you eat affects what you weigh. There's no easy, magic way to lose weight and keep it off but you can do better than what you're doing now.

To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.
