Ok so I'm a little older (early 30's) and I have a child. Where are some good places to meet some more mature men and what are some good ways to "break the ice" with them. I have been in 2 very long term relationships so I haven't really dated since high school and feel totally out of practice. I don't want to hang out in clubs/bars (those were my college days and I'm not into that anymore). I already go to church but I haven't had much luck there yet either so I'm looking for some great suggestions.
Guys would really like your opinions on what I should do.

Church and the Library. The ladies at church will have you paired off before you get to your seat.
At the library there are many new things going on due to advancements in computers etc. they also have guest speakers and readings. At least you'll know that he is literate.
