Well if you are trying to emulate the chistian concept of hell wouldn't that mean you'd have to set your house on fire too?

What?? youre kidding right, first of all, locking a child in a room for the rest of his life is like child abuse, however, when a child does do something wrong, they should have some sort of punishment, I dont believe that locking them in their room for life is the answer though. I know things may seem crazy enough for you right now to want to lock your son in his room that long, been there and done that, but if you take a breath and think of other ways to punish him, things will work out. Good luck to you.

Being a mom is like being a psychologist...
u should know how to psycho ur kid. Teach him indirect way and show him what is right or wrong.
If u used forced, they will become more stubborn and have no respect on u. But sometimes punishment and violence is the best way to teach but make sure it didnt harm ur kids badly.
As parents u have to show who is the master of the house and why he need to listen to u. Give reasons and teach him why he can or cant do this and that.
But if he is "1 of a kind", better put him in rehab, or any organization who can help u control him.

Because your child is a child & if the child was brought up with proper love he is less likely to lie & he may be real scared of you to tell the truth!!!!! & God gives adults heaps & heaps of second hand tickets so to speak you have just got to be really serious in your Heart & ask for forgivness & mean it & you will receive forgiveness by God but you still must do your punishment on earth if you broke mans or Gods law

The standard brainwashed Christian answer:
"Because God is all-knowing, all-seeing, and all-powerful. He created us, so he has the right and power."
The better, more informed answer:
There's nothing wrong with punishing your son that way. Go ahead. Lock your son in his room. Just be sure to take anything mildly entertaining out of the room first.

Because if you do that, you'll have to feed him for the rest of his life. And if you let him starve, his rotting corpse will stink up the house. And, right on about the Hell thing. Is there anything Christians don't take too seriously?

OKay,
If you want to lock your son in his room for the rest of his life,
go for it.
God doesn't send you to hell just because he feels like it.
Do you have a relationship with God and have you repented?
Thats who he sends.
Think about it, He gives you your WHOLE LIFE-TIME
to go to him,
but when your time is up,
That's when you go to hell.
Not just because.
As for me,
I'm not afraid the the judgment day,
I know where I'm going,
and that's with my Father,
who has done so many things for me.

You and your son live in a democratic country with written rules but God is an assumption with punishments assigned him. But rules of land is real and if you keep your son in his room for life, you will be arrested and put in jail.
But God will not do this to him or to you in the near future.

As an adult you are responsible to love your son even when he is bad. Punishment should fit the infraction of the rules he committed. When we as parents fail to make our children understand the wrong they have done and make them responsible for it then we have failed our children. Spare the rod and spoil the child.
As for God he does not sent people anywhere but He lets them decide what path they take in life and the wide path leads to destruction.

If u love ur son and if ur a good parent you will think of a good punishment but locking him in his room may tramatise him or wors make him disslike you so just take away something he likes and give it back when he gets better
