Decorating Issues?

Question

I'm trying to decorate my room without having to spend alot of money? Any suggestions? I'm 14 and in to R & B/ Rap, I love music, fashion, and writing poems and music.

How about framing some of your music and/or poems?
Pick up a good amount of 4X6 photo frames from walmart, the inexpensive ones. Alternate black and white pictuers of your favorite R&B artists and your own music/poems that you've written. When hanging the frames, make a "collage" by hanging them RIGHT next to each other, edge to edge, but this looks best if you use a large number like a dozen or more, depending on the area you have to work with. Paint the frames first, some black and some white.

Painting is an easy and inexpensive way to go. There is a book called "1,200 paint effects" by Ray Bradshaw that has all kinds of color pallets and many great ideas. If you don't want to go that way. Fabrics are easy to work with and very cheap. use them for wall hangings and covers for your bed and furniture. it will change the appearance of your room in a heartbeat. Good luck.

What travler said is a very good idea. I have used fabric basically like wallpaper b4. Also, print out a few of your fav artists clothes etc and put them in cheap dollar store frames. you can usually pop the glass out and spray paint the frames any color you want.
