im 17 and im in the middle of jobs, my girlfriend pays for almost everything but i hate being a "free loader". im looking for a job and its only been a 2 weeks. she loves spending the money on us but i hate it id rather her save it for her car. how do i tell her to stop spending her money on us with out sounding like im trying to say tht i should tell her how to spend her money, shes very touchy about this stuff and i dont know wht to do. help?

suggest things to do that don't cost money ~ go to the park / beach ~ just kick back... and remind her how much she wants the car so that you guys can go places and you will have a job by then to help her out :)

Just suggest that you do things together that do not cost a lot of money. Take long walks, go to the park, go to the beach, have a picnic. You can do it. Just try to avoid going to those places, by telling her that you would like to do some different, more romantic things. She will love the sound of romance.

Have you tried looking for temp or part-time jobs? Something to keep you going for a while. I know the job market now is picking up as the economy now is good. So give it a try and good luck.

Instead of telling her to stop her money on you, try suggesting activities that requires little or no money - hiking, beach, parks, stay in to watch a movie, play board games (sexual or non)...etc.
