Makes you wonder, huh. Like, why could the professor make a radio out of coconuts and bamboo but couldn't fix the hole in the boat? One of life's unexplained mysteries I guess.

i think of this is his organic reaction. If somebody have been to hit you, you duck, yet you could infrequently duck a bullet as this is small and rapid. For Superman, i think of he purely won't be able to be stricken by skill of the bullet. If a fly flies in the direction of you, will you duck? or you will duck while a dogs runs in the direction of you? same concept. extra a action picture star to you, sensible and exciting question.

One time I say him not duck and the gun bounced off him. Imagine at other times it is his Clark Kent alias kicking in and he ducks to look human.

sie readalots answer is a very good one actually.
However we must remember superman has superspeed so he should be able to see a thrown object quite easily without his reflexes cutting in. Sort of like you or me watching someone walk towards us slowly.
I would superman ducks due to bad writers.

I always wondered about why he wore his underwear on
