bathroom wherever when stopped in an area.. but in iraq our vehicles never stopped for bathroom stops.. you hold it while driving or piss in a bottle. i learned to hold it cause its much harder for chics to piss in bottles, but we kept an emergency mini bucket.. never had to use it tho.
baths never.. shower depends on when and where you were stationed.(iraq has improved since i left.. we did not have trailers then or AC)
victory had showers, but lsa anaconda(where i was) only had a few that we werent allowed access too.. i used my camel pak(a back pak with water) to have a quick rinse and baby wipes.

They don't take baths, they would if they were sen't some scented bath beads and candles and a Kenny G tape but until then they'll just take showers in the stalls like you'd find at the YMCA. If they can't get to a shower, you get to a combat shower; baby wipes and Axe Deoderant.
Bathroom stalls are just really crappy bathrooms that instead of having true running water, they have the "honey" suckers come by.
Urination for the nation
When on a mission that's longer than normal let's just say, there's a reason there's always a water bottle in Humvees...

Usually a soldier in the field uses the buddy system. One will keep an eye out for unfriendly strangers while his friend uses the bathroom.

okay most of this is true..but i can tell to from experience cause im out here and i have been out in sector alot that things have pretty much changed or atleast the have were im from in iraq..There are bases and little camps that are being built that have latrines(bathrooms) and showers..ofcourse the ones in the camps are not as good as the ones in the larger camps..but i live in a trailer..and we have pretty good showers and bathrooms than most probably..i dont know about other camps..the first time i was here we were in tents then eventually went to trailor..but when your out doing missions, you basically do it where you can and were its not so dangerous..

When they're rotated back to camp, they use toilets and showers, just like everyone else. In forward positions they grab what they can when they can... dig a hole if needed... go behind a bush or tree... or whatever... and the books I've read about forward deployment talk about not taking showers until they return to their camp. So... up to a week or so without a shower... But that's only with the most forward deployed warriors...

Does the term "hold it" mean anything to you? They learn that in basic training.
Plus, taking a bath is a bit further down the list of priorities when the bullets start flying.

You can dig holes for number two unless you happen to be near facilities. Number 1 you can do about anywhere. Bathes can be more of a luxury unfortunately.
