Sometimes when I am praying I ask God to make me have good dreams, sometimes I ask tor a certain thing and I dream about it and it has happened that if I dream with something like a lot, or more than one night, I ask God in my prayers to please help me not have that kind of dreams and those dreams doesn't happen.

I know that prayers are really good. Can this be a testimony? has it happened to anyone else?

When did I say that I only pray for myself to have good dreams, WHEN? :s

To pray for my drams is something that I sometimes include in my prayers. If you are going to be mean or hateful, you better don't answer!

I don't ask God to control my dreams. I believe he's got more important things to do.

I think you are a good person. Don't listen to the nay sayers here. When it comes to God and faith no one knows anything for sure. You seem, to me, to have a clean conscience and a pure heart. You should have only pleasant dreams.

Understand that some people are not so pure of heart nor clean of conscience. Such people do not want to be reminded of God. It makes them feel guilty for their sins and so they hide behind their mocking masks and make fun of you and all else that is good.

But you just keep on being you. You are on the right path and they all know it. Hopefully, your example will melt away their coldness and they will join you on the correct path someday.

God Bless you!

I agree that some answers are really mean. I don't want to be mean to you, as you seem like a nice innocent girl. I do not believe in prayer, but I do believe in a creator. One can pray from now to eternity, but a single amputee has never been healed by prayer. Check out this youtube link, it may open your eyes:

I agree with Lady J. God might help you with "evil" dreams if you asked him, but what you're talking about just doesn't seem like something that would be high on God's "Big List of Good Things to Do."

Praying for the sick, the imprisoned, your enemies - just to list a few biblical examples - seems a much more effective use of your prayers. Think of the good you can do with prayer - because Good is what God does.

I have heard that when a person asks God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to be with them in their dreams, that, if something bad happens in one, they can ask Jesus to be in their dream and rebuke the badness, etc.

I have often prayed that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit have control of my sleep and dreams....however, I am one of those people whom awaken without knowledge of dreaming, yet, have been told that I often laugh happily in my sleep.

Peace be with you :)

As a Prophet I am looking for the chosen ones among natural men. If these things happen to you, then you are inspired by THE HOLY SPIRIT and you are a chosen one among the natural men and are the 10% of the populations or in every sector of populations; and whose spirits were created from the gold dust and the silver dust of the earth. These chosen ones among natural men are the disciples of Prophets and Saints. They are the 1st fruits among natural men offered to THE LORD GOD or the 1st to be adopted to the family of the 1stborn in heaven. On one hand, natural men are not inspired yet by THE HOLY SPIRIT because their time is not now but in the soon coming of THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN when THE LORD JESUS CHRIST will reign. But the natural men whose spirits were created from the natural dust of the earth are actually 2nd born, are the ones deceived and swayed by satan so that they will suffer because of their sins and errors under the principle of what you sow is what you reap. But once the natural men suffer, THE HOLY SPIRIT in this battle between the good and the evil, comforts them by leading them to the LORD JESUS CHRIST as a suffering servant and they, as sufferers and victims of satan, can partake of the honor and glory of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. And in this way, they earned through their spiritual works their angel-like status in the soon coming KIngdom of heaven. And in the Kingdom of heaven, the natural men being born in the spirit will become angel-like and this is their time that the mysteries of GOD will be revealed to them. I firmly believe so. I believe its like our own little way of communicating with God {praying/dreaming} especially when you think youve had enough of life and you briefly just say "God , please help me" and all the sudden something happens in your favor...Thats NOT luck- thats the trust that you place in God....
Coming back to you*

I gave that advice to my children when they were little, and had nightmares. I told them that Jesus was more than capable of protecting them. And He was. They never mentioned the problem again. And now, as adults, they certainly have the opportunity to tell me I was full of it, yet they don't.

It's the power of your mind. If I'm thinking of something before I go to sleep, then that's what I dream of. It has nothing to do with your god.
