I think that all religious music is horrible. Besides that I also think it’s a slap in the face to real music. What do you guys think?

Are you kidding, a lot of modern music came from religious music.

I agree with "MINDFREAK"

I love P.O.D. heck even Linkin Park supposedly has Christan roots (who knew). P.O.D. is kinda more open about it with songs and lyrics about Zion though lol.

I'm not even religious, nor spiritual really for that matter. And I still think P.O.D. kicks @ss, so don't tell me it's a slap in the face for real music, some of it IS REAL music!

I LOVE Reggae and most of that is religious and if not mostly spiritual.

I also have some really HOT Anime songs from .Hack//Sign which if you listen to the lyrics you'll find that they are vary favorable to religious stuff like Christianity/Judaism and Pagan religions too. But I still think the songs are HOT!!! I like the "Key of the Twilight" and "In the Land of Twilight Under the Moon" and "Open your Heart" and "A Stray Child" ^_^

btw I don't like any music that's corny whether it be religious or nonreligious (unless it's meant to be comedy). I also don't like ignorant music either ...

I think that that is the most close-minded statement I've ever heard. I quote, "I think that all religious music is horrible." Have you listened to ALL religious music? Can you really even make statement like that without having listened to every religious song ever created? It also depends if you are a religious person. If you do not prefer religious music, then obviously, you will not like it. They have some good music out now that is hard to distinguish between Secular and Religious (Christian.) Just don't be so quick to judge, try some.

I don't listen to religious music either, but making a blanket statement like that is not fair. I have heard some religious songs that are pretty good. How about My Sweet Lord by George Harrison?

the a number of super classics have been written for the Church. It made experience. in spite of everything, the Church had extorted adequate wealth out of the international to have the money for reliable track. the reason the religious track right now sucks is that the well-known church homes are in simple terms too rattling stingy to pay for respectable track. in the event that they have been prepared to shell out like the movie marketplace does and sell the bands slightly they might produce something divine in track. As an atheist I view the religious myths as allegory in any case.If an honest tale became instructed and strong tunes supported it, nicely constructive i might hear. To undesirable the ultimate they have arise with these days is so bloody lame.

I think it is pure, unadulterated snobbery to think that "real" music can be defined only on your terms.

I think any music that sounds good to the listener is "real" music, and I, personally, enjoy the adventure of listening to all kinds of different types of music...

I think that somebody out there thinks Yoko Ono is a diva with an angelic singing voice. I think her singing voice sounds like a spider monkey being tortured... does that make her music less real? No. To the person who finds her angelic, her music is real.

I think that beauty is in the eye -and ear - of the beer-holder.

When it comes to religious music, I only sing/listen to acapella music. Nothing more beautiful than the harmony of voices without all that "noise" from instruments as we/they sing praises to God.

as we all know songs have categorization which somehow fall into proper place, every person has different kind of muzic favorites, so you can't judge this or that if that's what they like, furthermore, religious songs being one of the most beautiful songs in the world undoubtedly adds meaning to our lives and somehow if u find that boring, i tell u when the time comes, u'l realize how wondeful it could be to be close with HIM. if u find this offensive, u can e-mail me tru bjg_roa@yahoo.com
