I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA and i a minor..i know i need to bring permit, certificate of drivers ed and training, and proof of insurance but do i also need to bring my mom's car registration..i can't find the new one..i only have the expired one..thanks

Yes, you have to have it. Just go in the DMV early with your mom and get a duplicate before your test.

Part of the test is a full documentation check. And a quick safety check by the examiner.

you won' t be allowed to take the test without a valid registration.
