Blackheads are caused by the oil, pollution, dirt, and skin cells that have been shed, that mix in the pores of our skin. While facial cleansers are good, you need to use a skin exfoliate every week to 10 days. If you still have blackheads after a month, make a steam bath for your face using hot water in the sink, with a towel over your head to keep the steam in. Do that for a few minutes to loosen up the dead skin cells. A good shower can do the same thing. Steam first, then lather, and finish with the exfoliator. Use a moisturizer after your treatments are done, morning and evening. This helps prevent the soils from entering your pores in the first place.

Blackheads are caused by dirt and oil that is on your face. You need a cleanser (I recommend Neutrogena Blackhead Clearing Scrub) and a 1-2% salicylic acid topical treatment that you leave on your skin. A cleanser that you wash off will not help much with the blackheads, it may help to prevent the new blackheads, but it will not eliminate the existing blackheads. That is why you need a treatment to put on your nose. You can try Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Astringent. Good luck! It worked for me!

They are there because the corners of your nose collects a lot of oil, because of the creases. Also, most people don't stretch out that part of there face when washing it. Try pore strips or a face wash made specifically for blackheads like Neutrogena blackhead scrub.

FOR BLACKHEADS
Though blackheads are a problem with all skin types, oily and combination skins are most susceptible to these. Blackheads are caused when sebum (the skin's natural oil) collects and hardens in the pores. The exposed tip becomes oxidized and black, hence the name - blackheads. Here are some tips to prevent and remove these unsightly ghouls: • Cleansing is of utmost importance. Use a cleansing lotion or milk, which is meant for oily skin. Or use a medicated soap. Avoid washing the face with soap more than twice a day. • A mild astringent should be used to reduce oiliness. Mix some rose water in the astringent if you find it too harsh or strong. • Use a facial scrub to keep skin pores oil free. You can mix oatmeal or rice flour with curd and use it to rub the skin gently. But, remember to wash your face well with water. For oily skin, use scrub three to four times a week. • Never try to pinch or squeeze out blackheads, as this could lead to pimples and acne. • For stubborn blackheads, visit a good beauty parlour and get them removed professionally. The beauty therapist may use steam and employ a special gadget to remove blackheads.
Grate or blend a cucumber. Apply this over the face, eyes and neck for 15 to 20 minutes. It is a great tonic for the facial skin. Regular use of cucumber prevents pimples, blackheads, wrinkles, and dryness of the face.
Almonds
Make a paste of almonds with mild cream and fresh rosebud paste. Apply it daily over the face. This softens and bleaches the skin and nourishes it with the choicest skin-food. Regular application of this mixture prevents the early appearance of wrinkles, blackheads, dryness of the skin, pimples. It also keeps the face refreshed.
