Yes, cooking is easy for me. I love to cook! I very rarely follow a recipe (usually only for baking). I just kinda do what I think will taste good. It's very liberating to be in the kitchen and just pull something out of thin air.. And it's wonderful when people love it and ask for the recipe. My husband gets annoyed though because I never write anything down so it's never the same twice... Sometimes it's better but sometimes it's worse. But anyway, if you are hesitant in the kitchen. Look at cookbooks as a guideline.... Then tweek it to your personal tastes...Have fun!

It all depends on what kind of cooking you want to do....do you want to cook like a French chef with all the sauces they use...or cook like the average American....with meat, veggies , salads and desserts....anything you do and have a goal ....it doesn't feel like it's hard if you enjoy it.....when I first got married I could not figure out how to control the heat on the burners....at first the food looked great but inside it was not done not cooked enough...I thought back then if it was brown it was done...lol...what a surprise I learned to turn the heat up at first then down for cooking the rest of the time it took....as time went on my cooking improved and after all these years I've learned many things about cooking and love to share with others....I love to collect cookbooks...and watch the food channel....and read magazines about cooking....I enjoy cooking for my husband....the problem is now that there are just two of us....i still cook as if there are 4.....some habits are hard to break....you asked a simple question...and I've gone on and on about it....Cooking is as easy as you want it to be!
It all depends on what you want to do with it....and how far you want to take it....this summer with all the wonderful foods in the produce isle I could really be a vegetarian...enough said...have a great summer!

i do. well depending on what i'm making. some of the more complex recipes are a challenge but i would never complain. i love cooking!

cooking is extremely easy. i guess most people don't do it because they don't have the time when it's so convenient to buy ready-made foods at any foodservice business. you can cook more complicated things that require more practice, but making an everyday meal is never hard.

Someone once asked I believe it was Picasso if art was easy and he said that it's either easy or impossible.
Cooking really well is not easy but if it's impossible you simply can't do it.
Is it easy ? No Does it get easier ?Hopefully yes

yeh its easy but if you want to turn out a great meal, no its hard. i can cook my own food but if it turns out all oily and gross, then it would suck. so i try my best to cook well

I do. I've yet to make a recipe that I thought was actually difficult. I've made plenty that were incredibly time consuming and involved MANY steps, but I wouldn't call that difficult--just...involved, I guess. :)
