I really dislike answering these kind of questions as so often we are ridiculed for being a christian. Christ said that no man comes to the Father but through Him. but how would you know this if there were no teachers? Minister/priests are our guides, they are our interpreters, they are the ones that will help you to understand what it is that God expects of you. God bless you

Christ is the "door" that protects his sheep from the wolves if they will stay near him. (keep his comandments.) Read the story of the good shepherd and you won't get things like this confused.
