A balanced and at the same time a protein rich diet. And I think that the best way to put on the maximum amount of muscle in the minimum possible time is by using heavy weights. But, be careful you must do it under trained supervision using the right safety gear like a belt to support the lower back,a supporter, etc.Join a gym if you haven't joined one already, training with experienced bodybuilders or powerlifters will help you a lot.

You want to gain lean muscle mass ... remember that! And in order to do that is by resistance training with the right variables. Variables is just the amount of reps, set, rest periods, etc etc etc. You want to use weights that you can only rep between 8-12 times. This doesn't mean chose 150 and do it 12 times, but could've easily done it 20 times. So set one should be a weight you can only rep 12 times, set two and three a weight you can only rep 9-10 times, and set four a weight you can only rep 8 times. This example is just for starters soon you will have to adjust accordingly! But in the meantime use this example for each muscle group with 3-4 exercises per. Good luck!

What you need to do, is work out every other day, do whole body work outs, meaning everything (upper and lower body) every workout. Working out every day doesn't give your muscles the rest they need. Also, try eating at least 5 times a day, you should try to eat about 3000 Kcal on off days and about 4000-4500 on work out days, these numbers are of course just assumptions, I would have to know your height and weight and would have to go through the calculations which I don't feel like doing (sorry). Make sure that you eat a lot of carbs, your diet should be 40% carbs, 30% proteins, and 30% fats (mostly good fats like mono and poly). Work out, eat a lot (but eat well!!!) and don't do too much cardio, it'll "eat" the Kcals you need to grow.

Hi friend, first and for most get a gym membership done. if you have it already good. gaining weight in not 'only workout'. you got to have a proper and sufficient diet. eat with a gap of two hours daily. lemme explain.. get up in the morning have a heavy breakfast - 4 bananas, 1 boiled egg whites, and milk without protein supplements. after two hours again grab some fruits - bananas, oranges. after another 2 hrs it may be your lunch time. take a proper lunch. dont over eat. after another two hours grab some bananas again and another boiled egg at around 4 - 4.30. at around 6.00pm eat a sandwich with boiled patatos in eat. and again 2hrs gap eat your dinner (keep it light). follow this for a few days eat at regular intervals.strictly and exercise daily it worked for me.
