Well, I wouldn't say I dated anybody. Stalked is a better word. But, no, the stalkings didn't work out. Restraining orders, 911 calls... you know how it is.

Hello miss G6, well I am afraid I have not dated anyone from myspace, but I am dating the one who found my pic on a friend`s yahoo 360 blog page. He had again met me here on yahoo answers. So here it goes; She had also become a friend this third person, he gave her my e-mail address, and she wrote me a letter. I was easily charmed by this woman, and we wrote more and more until we spendt all our free time on the computer. Thing is we lived pretty far away from each other as she lived in Florida USA, and I lived in Norway. Well that did not stop us, and she have lived with me for a year very soon now. I am truly grateful and more in love now than ever. I believe she feels the same. We are best friends and we are gonna get married soon. I know one thing that was great with the talking and mailing, we really got to know what we liked and what was our dreams and goals in our life(s). We learned about everything more or less before we even met. Of course we had been honest about everything and had no secrets, but then again I believe most people are that. My woman actually have two friends that both have met in a chat room for film/movies, and both of them also have just nice things to say. That was my story about meeting on the net, to this day we have had no arguments or fights of any kind, so I have to recomend it 100%, just be careful and not go to fast forward. Yes I dated someone off myspace went out with him for 1yr and a half it was a good connection but be careful hun talk to them on the phone first then meet them in a public place

Why would you even want to? Unless you know this person personally, (Probably not if you're connecting through MySpace) I would seriously not reccommend it. No matter what they say, they could be lying to you. There's all kinds of sick perverts out there; I would suggest getting a real guy in the real world. Hope this helps.

Hm. My current boyfriend.. We met briefly (but intensely) at a party, then schmoozed via Myspace for a few weeks before we started dating. It's a good place to get to know someone (through text online without the anxiety of not knowing what to say in real life.) But as for people you've NEVER met before... It could work, my uncle and his son both met their wives online. So it's not impossible. I met a girl online who eventually became one of my best friends and after knowing her for a few years, she flew across the country to meet up with me. We hit it off just as well as we had online. It probably depends on how well you get to know the person through talking to them online, which still can't be 100% reliable because people sometimes will lie to manipulate you into thinking they're someone they're really not. I'd say if you are planning on dating someone you've met online, try to know them through the grapevine, a friend of a friend of a friend etc... So you know they're legit. You don't want Bob, 26 years old from SuchnSuch town to really end up being Gerald, 54 years old from ThisnThat town or even Bob the guy who has stalked all his past girlfriends. Make sure you know something about the person to know they're genuine before trying to hook up. Good luck.

Yes I did a girl that sent me a message saying hi. We started chatting on IM and got to know each other then one night we meet at a public local place. we hit it off. She was very nice and cute, just like in her pic. and her profile was accurate to I was so glad. We ended up breaking up but are still friends we still talk about once a week and IM each other. Just make sure you get to know the person before you try to meet them and do it in a public place.

I have met a woman on myspace and she and I are getting along rather well.........nothing serious ...more of a booty call actually.....but ,hey,,,i ain't complaining
