When you see other people close to you sin, how does the bible say you should take it?

For example: I am still a virgin, but all of my cousins who are my age (15 -19) are sexually active and it hurts to see that. When I see them with their boyfriends/girlfriends and they tell me what they do behind doors and whatnot, I get really saddened.

What does the bible say about loved ones who sin? How does God say I should take it? They also seem to have no shame in fornicating either. One of my 16yr old cousins is pregnant and sees nothing wrong with it.

The Bible says to pray for people. It's really hurtful to see teenagers giving away their virginity like it's nothing.

You should have a talk with their parents and let them know what's going on.

Teenagers shouldn't be having sex, period. They may be old enough in the anatomical sense but they aren't mentally and emotionally ready for such an act. That's why it's best to wait until you're married.

A lot really depends on whether or not they claim to be Christian.

If they do, then the verses that patrone07 posted apply (I Cor. 6:10-11, I Peter 1:14-15)

If they don't, then you can't expect them to behave like one. They need to know that one day they will give an account of their deeds to God and that the penalty for sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Rom. 6:23)

The best thing you can do is continue to love them. Dont look down on them, because we're all sinners...yes some of us sin to a greater extent, but in the end we are ALL sinners and we ALL need christ. So just love them and dont reject them or look down on them. Loving them will help them find christ while not feeling forced into beliefs.

I'm not saying it's not supposed to hurt when they sin, but you just shouldnt express that hurt in the form of anger. Express it by reaching out to them. Just not in a suffocating way. I guess just try to be their friend and a person who can support them when they are in need.

You can only make suggestions and talk to people out of love and concern. People have been lied to for so long they don't know good from bad anymore. And it's literally KILLING us. Tell them how you feel. Don't let society tell you up is down and green is blue. Pray for 'em.

God bless

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God." I Cor. 6:10-11

"Because you are children who obey God, don't live the kind of lives you once lived. Once you lived to satisfy your desires because you didn't know any better. But because the God who called you is holy you must be holy in every aspect of your life." I Peter 1:14-15

you should pray for your cousins and their boyfriends, that they may repent of their sins and accept Christ as their LORD and Savior. Show love and kindess to them, by your strong faith in Christ and your modesty/chasity, they'll be drawn to your purity and holiness in Chirst. God bless you.

Why, you're supposed to "rebuke / admonish the sinner" according to the "Spiritual Acts".

But "sin" is relative, hence your cousins' point of view.

Just be thankful that you are not like them and that you have obeyed God
Sin will bring bad things into your life
Pray for them and tell them what it will do
