Then, during the Cambrian explosion, animals suddenly appeared with functioning eyes, complicated respiratory and circulatory systems, and functioning limbs.

If God didn't create these animals as fully formed, functioning creatures, how did they get here. There's no fossil record showing their evolution, just the Cambrian Big Bang, and they were here. Does anyone have any idea where the information came from to form all these body parts? I believe that God created each of these different animal kinds. Anyone out there with evidence to the contrary. I hope I don't get a lot of WWW.blahblahblah.com websites.

Theo48.........Don't look for any serious answers here. No one knows how life could have started in a primordial soup. There's no evolutionary trail from pre-Cambrian to Cambrian, just the sudden appearance of animals.

You gave the answer, God created the different animal kinds. But it will be fun to see if someone tries to give a serious answer.

At least you are open to scientific knowledge (rolls eyes).

You see, what happened (as happens within the womb) proteins bonded forming life.

Your sperm fertilizes an egg. As the mother eats, proteins are then synthesized to form more cells through mitosis et al.

It isn't all that hard to create life (6 billion humans). 10% of the earth's biomass is ants. Whoopideedoo!

Proteins. DNA formed from proteins.

Had you studied evolution: you would know that once life formed, only the life that was strongest survived. After aeons that life began to grow more complex to adapt to an ever changing world. That is what evolution is.

Evolution is evidence to the contrary. Read Origin of the Species or anything on Natural Selection. And if you don't like Darwin, look at Aristotle's additions as well as all of modern genetics.

Evolution proceeds at a fairly constant rate in terms of genetic changes; in fact, such changes are used as a rough measure of the time of the separation of species. But visible evolution occurs only in a time of stress or unique opportunity, where a visible mutation gives a distinct survival advantage. Cambrian time represented a unique opportunity for speciation, as there were many ecological niches where a new species could thrive. As in any evolution, the information arises from natural selection, which weeds out unfavorable changes but allows useful ones to propagate. Evolution is now a proven fact.

Could it have been Campbell's Primordial Soup? Or perhaps Crosse & Blackwell? An infinite number of monkeys with an infinite number of typewriters will eventually type out Shakespeare's "Othello." Would an intelligent and sane being ever have produced something like the human race?

If you are too lazy to read the information on the numerous websites that are available, I'll be darned if I'm going to type out all the available evidence on the subject. Why ask this question when you have already decided on the answer? Just stick with, "with God everything is possible." Seems to be working fine for you.

yay for amoeba, if it was them. What's your source, apart from speculation? And nothing just happened....

You need to review your view and interpretation of evolution, and the difference between evolution and abiogenesis...

do you know what your car is fueled by? It's called fossil fuel, because when bones decay they turn into a soupy material, so of course we don't have fossils. Did you really think about this question?

Do you really think God put us here to argue with people over our beliefs? Some where in the middle of adaption and God lies an answer for all of us.
