It is easy to say both... but, life sometimes deal us cards in which some of us are placed in a position where we have come to realize that what we have is a blessing and are happy with that. Yes, it would be nice to get everything we want... but let's be honest... that isn't the world that we live in. So, it is important to me to be blessed and happy with what I have. That's a good question.

Being happy with what i have.
If you can't be happy with what you have, even if you get everything you want your only going to want more and won't ever be happy with what you have.

Being happy with what I have. I don't want to wait the rest of my life to be happy on something I might never have.

Being happy with what you have.

I don't want a lot of stuff, and if I got all that I wanted I'd feel like a shlub who didn't work and took the easy way out. Life would get boring, bland, meaningless, and I would have no soul.

I'd be like Paris Hilton.

A mix of both for me. I like some of the things that I have now, while there is things that I want as well. But thats how the world works at times. I still say its better to earn what you want than just always running off to given it in the drop of the hat.

I prefer being happy with what I have, and I usually am. But if there's something I really want (which doesn't happen much) then I work to get it.

Good question.

It should never arise in a legal society where
individuals have rights. there the choice would
be between realism in a just system, and unrealism.

The question is not of "settling for" or "dreaming
about"; that can only arise where justice is denied
by tyrants or ignored by unrealists.

The answer is: you need to deal with what you have,
but you shouldn't have to give up your dreams, unless
you're living in a totalitarian and postmodernist-
unrealistic state.

It is BETTER and SO MUCH HARDER to be happy with what you have then to "get" everything you want.
If you are constantly trying to "get" more then you will live your life never truly being happy and content.
