I have a kidney infection and I am on Cipro for the antibiotics. I haven't had a period in 8 weeks now and I am NOT pregnant according to ultrasound, blood tests, and pg tests. I went to the ER today again for the second time about this and they said to continue taking the Cipro since my urine and blood tests all look good. I am now having shakes and chills, however, no fever or high blood pressure according to the doctors earlier. Why is my period so damn late and why am I still very ill after 5 days of antibiotics and a clean test??

Your body is OBVIOUSLY very stressed- at first, from the Infection, and NOW- from the powerfull Antibiotics...- So THAT explains why you haven't had a Period (You're probably going to MISS this one- altogether...-So stop worrying about it.). And Kidney Infections are SERIOUS BUSINESS- they DON'T go away quickly!!! Relax, take your medications, and be patient... Follow your Doctors instructions- & if you don't notice any improvement by this time NEXT WEEK- then check in with your Doctor- again. My bets are on- you'll be fine in a couple of weeks. Hang in there!

There must be a leaflet within the field that tells you approximately the feasible part results, have a learn and notice what it says. Some antibiotics you are taking with meals, a few earlier than meals so ensure you comply with the instructional materials as informed.
