very interesting question...and thought-provoking...
assume we have a drink e.g., Scotch on the rocks...the person either drinks out of the glass or with a straw...if the person drinks through the straw before the ice melts, that person has consumed alcohol faster than the person with the watered-down drink...but if both people finish their drinks, the amount of alcohol is the same...

yeah cuz when u drink through a straw u drink faster. but just doing the action (drinking from a straw) wont get you drunk faster. if u understand what im tryin to say

I ALWAYS DRINK MY COCKTAILS FROM A STRAW. I DON'T THINK YOU GET DRUNK FASTER. I DON'T THINK IT REALLY MATTERS. ALCOHOL IS ALCOHOL!!

IF YOUR NOT USE TO DRINKING PROBABLY IT WILL BECAUSE YOU GET WASTED FASTER WHEN YOU DRINK IT FAST SO YEAH IT COULD GET YOU DRUNK FASTER.
