Gordon told Larry a lot of things that did nothing to clarify the church's postion, and pretty much admitted he didn't know what the church actually taught (neither does anyone else for that matter), or confrmed that he actually speaks with jesus.
That and Simon Southerton was the final nail for me. Lie to me once, shame one you. Lie to me twice, I've leaving and taking my 10% with me.

this is a link to the transcript of the interview in question straight from CNN. And when he speaks of this not being of the doctrine anymore he is referring it as not being practiced as there is no more plural marriages or sealings being preformed in the Lords house or temples. If the doctrine was still in place then there would be sealing ceromonies in the temples still to this day, so this covenant is not being practiced anymore As the Lord God handed down this change to President Brigham Young after he prayfully pondered this question.

Don't know what the "lie" was so I don't know if he did.
But if he did let me go on the record as saying I am shocked that someone in a high position of a church would lie. What next, dishonest politicians?

I didn't know he lied, but they should be upset because it is a SIN to lie, and when the prophet and president of the entire church lies, it's like the church itself is lying!
