I always just hold the book farther away but can read just as fast. Anyone know if a soecific type of Tylenol, Motrin whatever provides wuick eye strain relief! My sinuses are also horrible from allergies so any headache medicine you can suggest let me know. Thanks so much in advance,

You just need ot wear your glasses. There isn't any special medication that will cure your hedaches. You know why your head hurts. Even just a few minutes of reading can cause your head to hurt beucase your eyes are straining to see. So, enough said...wear you glasses!!

I have because I was once 17, part a life-time in the past. I cannot put on contacts. And on best of that my high-priced glasses broke two weeks in the past and I cannot manage to pay for a brand new pair for a whilst so I'm caught with glasses from 17 years in the past! I appear like an owl!

You are already taking ibuprofen regularly. The ibuprofen could actually be causing the headaches, not eyestrain. If the headaches are actually caused by eyestrain there's not much you can do for it, except wear your glasses. You should see an eye doctor and an allergist and tell them both about what you are already taking. If you start mixing too many headache pills, you could really hurt your stomache and it could give you other problems like tinitus.

Your question really should be "How do I remember to wear my reading glasses so that I don't get headaches?"

Try getting one of those strings that attaches to your glasses so that you can wear them around your neck. Put them on first thing every morning and then you will always have them on hand.

For sinus pain and allergies, see your doctor for allergy treatment and sinus treatment.
