Thats a natural reaction--the stuff tastes terrible. If it is Advantage or Frontline, it won't hurt her. Other products may not be as safe, but if she just tasted it she should be fine.

The drooling is most likely a reaction to the taste and will quit with time unless the treatment is one that proves to be toxic to the dog. Most of the good higher end products have a very low probability of being toxic even if taken orally. If it is frontline then it is very unlikely to cause any other problems because it will not go systemic even if ingested.
If it is a cheap flea treatment purchased from a discount store such as wal mart then you may need to be worried as these have a much higher likelihood of being toxic even though they are labeled for dogs.
