hmm i wonder what phone cards you used..

some phone cards are bad.. due to the competetiveness

of this industry..

i recommend you to use kroean phone cards

because not only they have low cost

and if you get right phone cards.. you have good quality of

calls to..

my parents use dong shim phone cards (동심)

and they talk all night long.. to korea

if you can get to local korean supermarkets (freshia, hk market ca. supermarket, hannam chain, galleria.. etc.)

i recommed you to go there and pick some calling cards..

some reliable brands are dong shim(동심) kt calling card, dacom calling card . kt and dacom are big companies so they are reliable

I don't really understand this question. Any phone card should be able to handle international calls. Its just a matter of having enough money on the card. I am on the road pretty much full time and have a dozen different Sim cards from countries all over the world. Not once have I had a problem with this type of call. So.... Check and make sure your phone is unlocked so it can use all chips. Verify the amount of money you have left on your phone card. Ah... The light bulb just went on! Sorry about going on. I am unfamiliar with phone cards. I strictly use Sim cards for my cell phone. So i was babbling at you with the wrong info. Sorry. Hope you get a good answer and things work out. Good luck.

Calling from USA to South Korea, the best rate is 1.3 cent / min with maintenance fee, or 2.3 cents / min without maintenance fee.

Check the following link to compare and find the best calling card.

Most likely, no. Landlines run from cables that are supported over-the-sea's with satellite transmission. They run on different connections than a cellular device would. Cell phones are genetically used with only satellite, and the satellite has a different transmissions to connect the call.
