First I would take down the latice, it would open up the space and make it look larger, not to mention it would not block all the light. I would paint it a light or medium sage, which would go well with the cream color of your shower and wouldn't clash with colors of your floor (I think I saw yellow in one picture). I would do the sink base and trim in white, which would really brighten up the room and make it look fresh.

ok.. here's my ?.... the lattuce... what is it there for ..meaning what is it covering or representing. Can u & would u get rid of it? I think that would open u'r bath up a bit more. It look like one is covering the light fixture & the other over the shower which is ok if u'r going for a garden theme but if not...
U could also chg out out upper cabinet louver doors w/ solid doors if need b or if u like to keep them u could go for a beach theme.. spa theme.. even w/ the lattuce.
Spa theme requires lt aqua/blues/greens/& plenty of plants whether fake on faux painted. sooo u can intertwine garland on the lattuce.
Beach theme... drape netting over the lattuce & put in shells etc...
Now for colors... I wouldn't make the lattuce stick out. I wouldblend it in w/ the colors u can use for ur walls or a shade lighter etc..
depending on u'r likes & style.. that will really determine the color u do in this bathrm. being that it is small.. i would proabably stick w/ lighter, softer colors & accent w/ med to darker color towels..pix.. shelves etc.

B creative & have fun~

1] buy a good shower curtain in a combo of colors you like.
2] pick one of the light colors to paint the walls
3] pick a neutral [ ivory or white, beige or pale gray ] for trim, and some accessories [ and lattice, if you keep it ]
4] pick a bright or dark for rug, trash basket, sink accessories [ tumbler, toothbrush holder, soap or lotion dispenser ].
5] add a towel set each in the wall color, the rug color, and the neutral color.
6] get a shower caddy or basket to hide all your toiletries under the sink cabinet.

Your pics demonstrate a great need for color! I recently painted my own. It turned out great. The color was Sonoma at Home Depot. Happy Painting.
