No matter how you view it BC, AD or BCE, CE all revovles around thetime Dionysus established for the Christian calender that revolves around the birth of Christ. Or do athiest need to establish a new callender? You know Muslim nations have an Islamic callender? China has their own Calender. I just think the whole BCE and CE is just funny.

Maybe you missed my point. No matter if you believe in Jesus or not the calender we use was based on His birth. BC/AD or BCE/CE it is still based on the same date.

I always use BC/AD. I was a history major in college and some of our professors used BCE/CE but allowed their students to use BC/AD.

I don't put anything. I leave it up to the intelligence or lack of intelligence of whomever reads or hears the year that I'm talking about gets the era right and doesn't go around asking for Moses, who is already dead.
P.S. - What does BCE and CE stand for?

I had never heard of BCE or CE until very recently. I was raised Catholic...we went to church EVERY week. You had to be almost deathly ill for my mom to let you stay home from church or CCD(that's Sunday school, in Catholic terms). In all those years, the only ones used were BC and AD.

I view dating as enjoying yourself, looking to see whats out there, and see if there's someone you might have a possibility of starting a relationship with. The relationship is that trial period of seeing whether or not you could spend your life with that person or not. Relationships can also be about two people who just care alot for each other, and want to be commited to each other, even if they know they probably wont spend the rest of thier life with that person. I think everyone should stop obsessing over finding thier "soul mate" and just enjoy thier lives. The right person will come along someday, I think some of us are just looking too hard.

I use BC and AD. BCE and CE are ridiculous, for the reason you mentioned. That was my opinion when I was a Deist, as well.

It is CE and BCE simply because it is the origin of the current calendar. While other calendars are in use, the one used for commerce in the modern world revolves around the Christian mythology. As such, while it may be arbitrary, it is still convenient. Everyone knows it, and it works. BCE is fine with me.

I usually use BCE and CE, but I dont mind the other. Does it bother you to say Friday, since its named after the Norse Goddess, Frieda?

CE and BCE since they are actually not biased. Just because someone previously made a timeline based off their faith and the world accepted it doesn't make it some sort of divine scheme or anything.
Oh and prove Jesus existed and then maybe you might have validity.

Neither. 2007. I use a negative number for what you call BC or BCE. There is a year 0. I also use the Chinese calendar.

Being a Christian of course I believe in the AD philosophy. Having taken a College course in world religions - one comes to the conclusion that ALL different world religions have their own a way of calculating the start and stop of time. Many religions have many beliefs..... they can believe what they want - as long as you belief your own - soul intuitions........ it is funny -there are so many beliefs!!!!!
