What Bmac said. It could be a number of things, from allergies to some kind of seizure.

It can be allergies to dust mites, pollen, mold, mildew, plants, etc. This is a very high allergy season now, especially if you are in a dry area. Or asthma makes you feel like that. Also, there is a thyroid problem called Hashimotos syndrome, I think, that has a tightened throat as a symptom. Please see a Doc if not resolved soon.

It could be an elergic reaction... try taking some alergy medicin
