Wisdom comes from neither.

Experience and - this is key - REFLECTION are absolutely necessary in the pursuit of wisdom. Of course, one need not pursue it to obtain it...

Yahoo! Answers (here, anyway) is, for most people, a place to shout out opinions and laugh along with similar thinkers at the opposing side. Some people genuinely wish to find answers, some genuinely wish to help, some want others to seriously question... but many just want to be heard. And some just want to make jokes.

I guess you get out of it what you put into it, unless you're unlucky and no one responds with anything intelligent/intelligible.

And of course, age means nothing. All it takes is one old fool to prove that.

Perhaps wisdom is a combination of age...life experiences...yahoo answers....and most importantly the ability to create within yourself a positive result.

Wise answers will not offer wisdom...you have to be able to hear the answers....accept the answers and become wiser.

And remember regardless of how wise you are...you can become wiser yet, if you choose to.

Wisdom comes with Insight.

Experience comes with Age.

It is possible to use Experience to obtain greater Insight, and thus Wisdom, but it requires Insight to see this potential.

Thus Age rarely produces Wisdom, as Insight comes with Intelligence (which is age-less).
