Many answerers seem to focus on getting points,
rather than: with all thy getting, get understanding.
Is it not preposterous order to teach or preach first,
and learn after if destroyed is afterward in Jude 5?

Since the points give absolutely nothing tangible, why bother point gaming? You get NOTHING for them. I don't come here for points, that would be stupid. If you got anything for them I could understand why someone might do that.

If I wanted to I could get a best answer form 9 out of 10 questions. That would mean however, that I pretend to side with the view of the person asking the question and give a dishonest answer to apease the person asking the question. I would rather speak my mind and if I get all thumbs down, so be it. I get violations from time to time and I had my last ID suspended for speaking my mind. OH well!!!

I don't have many points because I rather spend my time here pricking the minds of others by raising deep thinking questions. I will be at level two for awhile, but I sure have a lot of stars.

There are many here who answer with things they have heard in church, rather than what they have come to understand in critical study; many who preach from the Bible, rather than from what they have learned to be true.
I, for one, will listen more to one who explains from ardent study from many sources rather than an "expert" on the Bible, or from any other single source. To believe that one book is the repository of all that is necessary will certainly lead to destruction.

Well, I read in the BIg Book of LiEs that wisdom is a sin. Some people at some fruit and it was all over from there. Silly story really. Thought an all powerful "god" could have been more creative.

If there were no points, I think that a lot of people wouldn't be here. I like the good questions that make me think, but I'm here for the points.
