To gain weight, you need to increase the amount of calories you consume on a daily basis - it takes about 3000 extra calories for each pound you want to gain.

Despite all the suggestions on here about milkshakes and buffets, you still have to this in a healthy way. The easiest way is to start slowly increasing your portion sizes - take that second pork chop, or an extra scoop of rice.

Exercise is also a factor - one of the things that people who are UNABLE to gain weight (usually due to high metabolism) forget to factor in is the amount of calories they burn through working out. If you normally consume 2000 calorie/day, and then burn off 500 through aerobics (or whatever) - then you are only taking in 1500 calories at the end of the day.

You have to compensate for this loss, as well as "pack on" a little extra to get the gain started. In the case I just mentioned, you would have to increase your intake to 3000 calories a day - burning 500 with your exercise (to keep your body looking GREAT), and still gaining 500 when the day is done...

Just don't push it too quickly - just like rapid weight loss, a sudden gain can throw your bodies' natural systems off balance ;);)

As you will tell from my successful size, concentrate on eating much more - 5 to 6 times a day and make the food be high calorie healthy foods - snack oftern and eat larger and several helpings at meals. Then stop being active - be sedentary - sit, sit and eat, eat. Give it time - the weight will come. I know it worked for me - I added over 300 pounds in 15 years.

My son gained 8 lbs in one month using the whey protein shakes I used to lose 30 lbs. It's about balance. He gained healthy, lean muscle, and not FAT, which you'll gain if you take the suggestions to eat fries and drink milkshakes! You don't want to be skinny with a big belly, right? Then you want to have lean muscle. If you add a high-quality whey protein shake to your routine, once or twice a day, I'm sure you'll see results. You can write to me for more specifics and the name of what my son used if you'd like.

okay well the reason you eat like a pig and dont gain weight is because of you metabolism if you only eat three BIG meals a day you may gain weight what you should eat should be junk food really like a whole bag of chips ahoy cookies a whole bag of popcorn and stuff that might make you gain weight and starve yourself for a while before you eat...i know you think what millions think starving myself makes me lose weight it does if you starve yourself for a whole week!! Actually starving yourself slows down your metabolism causing you to gain more weight when you do eat.but if you eat BIG meals but starve yourself in between your metabolism will slow down i think you should go down a couple sizes last year i wore a size 7 and i was fat so dont try that go for a size 5 weight 110

If you wan't to achieve weight, and construct muscle. You do not wan't to simply over devour with junk meals. This will absolutely makeyou fatter, and bad. But in case you wan't to achieve muscle you are going to ought to drink a few top protein drink's, shakes, meals. Peanut Butter & Jelly I consider could be a well begin. The Peanut Butter will furnish you with Protein, even as the Jelly has lot's of High Fructose, and Sugars, to support positioned of the burden. You might wan't to determine out a few low priced CVS Pharmacy over-the-counter varieties of average herb capsules to support help the muscular tissues. I are not able to consider of any names of those varieties, however I do understand they exist, I've heard of folks taking them, and had well outcome whilst taken most of the time.
