If Al Gore doesn't jump in at the last moment, I believe this would be a good pairing.

I'm intrigued by this idea. Score two for the minorities! I love it.
I don't think this will happen, because my guess is that the two of them pairing up is probably not the best strategic move to gain the votes of the American public. While I think this election might be our best chance yet to see a woman or African-American in office, I believe that many Americans still hold a negative view about the leadership capabilities of members of one or both of these minority groups. Therefore, strategically speaking, the two of them together have the potential to alienate a significant chunk of the voting public, I think. Either one of them is going to have to garner some of the conservative vote to win, and I don't know how possible that will be if at least one of the pair isn't "traditional" presidential material.
Having said all that...I theoretically love the idea of a woman and black man in office, but I don't know enough about the candidates to know if they are the pair I would want. However, I don't think anyone short of a divine being is going to bring peace to our nation and to the world anytime in the near future.

"After the field is thinned out a little it might just happen. Nothing worse could happen to this country than to have the pair in office. If you think there are a lot of homosexuals around now. Just wait until those two freaks take office. This country is in the crapper for dure."
I know it's not the purpose of this section, but I felt the need to point out the irony of a bigot having an avatar with a hippy head-band.

The "never-ending war" is the one that Muslims have been waging against non-Muslims for thousands of years. The war in Iraq has only been going on for about six years.
Let's vote for someone who has America's best interests at heart instead. Democrats do not.

The Republican Party leaders are hoping for that and if the Democrats give it to them its Christmas in November!
A Clinton/Obama ticket won't win, whoever wins the nomination will pick a moderate, southern white guy to run with them.

sadly, this country is still stuck in the 50s... they can't get over the fact that a women and a black man are just as competent, if not more so in this day and age, than any white man.
i can't believe people saying it would be a travesty considering the last seven years of ruin this country has been subjected to.
i guess the government refusing to invest in infrastructure and education has achieved its goal of keeping the public uninformed and ignorant.

As both are minorities, it would be an interesting pairing and would get minorites interested in politics. I would like to see Barrack as president and Hillary as vice president.

The last time we had a non-WASP president in our once great country, he was assasinate by the american military industrial complex.
We are not mature enough to accept the fact that people of all colors and genders are equal and capable of running our country.

I have to say that is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. Besides, Hillary already had a term in office.
