Obviously not very educated are you? Comparing the Bible to the Harry Potter books is like comparing the sun to the Buger in your nose. Your obviously about 150 years out of date with what we know today. If you want some current scholarly facts: so as to appear not so un-educated or lacking in what we know today I suggest you get Lee Strobel's books, there are four of them: the case for Christ, the case for the real Jesus, the case for faith, and the case for the creator. Just so you don't continue to make yourself look ignorant: the Bible is not 2000 years old the Old Testament was written over a period of about 1500 years before Jesus up until about 400 years before Jesus, the New Testament was written about 2000 years ago. We have 27,000 manuscripts particles parchments subelements and so forth of the New Testament to compare with each other. Some of them dating back to within one generation of the time of Jesus: manuscript dated about a hundred years from his death. But many if not most leading scholars now recognize that the New Testament was written no later than 20 to 30 years after his death at the latest. It's considered an extremely accurate historical book both the old and New Testament according to archaeology they use it to find all kinds of things based on what it tells us in the book. Luke the writer of the Gospel Luke and the book of Acts is considered a foremost historian of the first rank, extremely accurate in all his reporting. You're obviously not aware of the difference between mythology and what's known as historical accounts of the Bible. And the current state of scholarly research in what's called textual criticism. I would encourage you to quit posting questions and embarrassing yourself and make yourself look about as educated as a 12th grader, or maybe you are a 12th grader... in which case I apologize. Finally, this is a spirituality and religion section where Christians are asked questions about the Bible and therefore are going to quote from the Bible if you're sick of it, go get a life, will get some friends or make yourself happy with a hobby and don't come here. I would suggest you get a book and educate yourself on the facts: your education is sorely lacking.

Yes, it is a pain, but it isn't really illegal, unless the draw has taken place. Which means you can't have won. But these things are a con. Maybe the small print should be the big print and vice versa.

That was old back in the Seventies when I saw a cartoon of a hotdog checking his mail, in which he received a notice informing him "You may already be a weiner!"

If you receive such a thing write all over it 'But I bet I've not.' stick it in the envelope and mail it back preferably without a stamp.

You mean I haven't. I've been standing by the mailbox every day and received nothing. I was going to call the post office and tell them the mailman was stealing my mail. Thanks for the heads up.
