I was raised with the most loving god ever known, it was ALL 100% positive for me so I have not turned away because I did not like what I heard. basically, science has just convinced me that it came from man. after all, its been around for 35,000 years BEFORE CHRIST!!! I believe jesus's intent was right, but maybe there is no "way" other than how to live a peaceful life on earth, isnt that what its really about? isnt that what we really want to know, how to be happy right here right now... regardless what happens after we die. Does what happens after we die really change the way we should act today?

peace and love to everyone

You've got so many questions going here I can't sort them out.

1. You cannot believe like Jesus did and not believe that he is the way. He had a very distinct religious persepctive - he was not just some social revolutionary or wisdom teacher.

2. You can strive to act like Jesus, live up to his ideals, etc. But if you don't accept the account of Jesus presented in the Gospels, then how can you be sure of anything about Jesus? Everything you know about him comes from the same sources that claim he is "the way."

3. What exactly do you think came from man 35,000 years before Christ? I wasn't clear on that point.

People twist belief with their words. The muslim guy, if you want to call him that, is a pretty good proof of that.

You ask about believing like Jesus does. That is not an easy question to answer. It's a question you have to answer for yourself. It is obvious to me that God is Power for the activities here. It's also true that often, no matter how you may long for peace, what you get is not what you expect.

You can start each action with refuge in God. That is like Jesus. However, remember that Jesus was not always happy with the results that occured.

So how can we expect a "no bumps ride"?
And yes, Jesus did make it clear that what you believe in is VERY important for after death.

It's what you believe in and how you live that counts, and you are not all together wrong, just don't hook happiness to that.

Sorry, but I strongly disagree with you. Jesus said He will come back...so how do You be like Him and not believe it? You cannot call yourself a Christian believing like that for to be one, you receive the mind of Christ.

But if you want to be tire and quit believing, then that is your choice and between you and God. But to do that, we who believe already know what your outcome will be, for His Word tells us. We don't even need to judge you. You are already judging yourself right now before God and man, and you are making your choices.

Best wishes on your rose garden life that's full of peace. That's a fairytale dream your living and no such thing in these times...and it will get much worse as time goes by.
By the way, how I act and live my life today not only changes what happens after we die, but it's a ETERNAL FOREVER MORE change.

You have time right now to make the change. I pray you'll wise up and do it.

PEACE!!!

Probably not. How can you believe like Jesus does, without knowing the depth of love, truth and power that Jesus holds. How can a beautiful flower blossom, if it does not seek the sun? How can we truly know love, when we willingly separate ourselves from the source of love. Of all the statements in the Bible, there is one that we know is true, and that is God is love.

Yall are just jumping around the questions Jesus said
"For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 5:20)."

NO Christian, No Jew, No Muslim is getting into heaven unless he leads a holy life, meaning no partying, fornicating, druging, gambling, violence etc. he didnt say u have to believe in Trinity to enter heaven he said lead a holy life, infact the word trinity is not mensioned in the bible. Who leads the holy life Jesus christ wanted us to lead? Muslims or Christians. I think Muslims fallow every command of Christ as well as the 10 commandments, while most Christians and Jews dont

Jesus said no one comes to the Father but through Him. I don't entirely understand your question, though. You can live a good life and believe in Jesus as well. We shouldn't be concerned about our own happiness anyway, which is fairly selfish.

jesus said in john 14:6 "i am the way the truth and the life". if you dont accept him as ur savior, you arent going to heaven. theres simply no other way to put it. "it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves-it is the gift of God, not of works, so no man can boast." -Eph. 2:8-9
