I would send them all, including the children, back to where they came from. The adults would be permanently disqualified from applying for American citizenship but the children would be able to follow the legal procedure to become American citizens once they become adults.(Unless of course they try to illegally immigrate between the time they are deported with their families and the time they want to do it the right way.) Only one pass even for a minor.

I would send them and their kids out of the country. If they wouldn't have put themselves in a situation where they were here illegally but the kids weren't, and they were at risk of being removed from their kids, then there wouldn't be such an issue, now would there?
They are illegal. They are here without permission from the US government. It is the law that one must have permission from the government to be in this nation for any length of time. I don't care if they like that law or not, it is the law. And if they can't follow a simple thing like a law, how are they to be expected to raise their children to follow the law?
They should be deported. We do our share for the world by taking in more immigrants into this country legally than the rest of the world combined. What else are we expected to do? There have to be limits set, or else we become a nation that falls apart. The laws are there for a reason - not to be mean, and not to be "elitist", but to manage a situation that can - and has - gotten out of hand. The government needs to take charge. I think the American people overwhelmingly spoke up during the immigration bill debate. They are sick of the illegal immigration, and they want something to be done about it.
DO SOMETHING!!

I don't think there is an easy fix to this problem. I think there should be a penalty for the ones who came here illegally, but to send them all back at one time would be a disaster. The children however would have to go back, but would have to receive dual citizenship when they turn 18 just like any other country.

They should take the kids with them. The law should be changed that a person born here must have parents that are here legally as either a citizen or permanent resident LEGAL alien is then a natural born citizen.

We need a foreign legion like France has. Serve 5 years in the legion and you can become an American citizen. In addition the Legion would give our boys a break in policing the world's trouble spots. That is the pathway to citizenship that I recommend.

The illegals cant stay, and if they have any sense of family, like most claim they do then they would either take the children with them or let them stay with a legal family member.

I see nothing getting out of hand! They are actually helping the economy in many ways. If it wouldnt be for them, we would have to pay more $ for things like produce, construction services, etc. & just because you hear of an illegal immigrant committing a crime, does not mean you can categorize all of them as bad people (can tell you that from experience) oh & something else......they dont come here to America because they really want to, they come here to work. Think about it....do you really think they actually want to leave their parents, wife, children ...knowing that they are risking their own life when trying to cross the border illegally. NOOO!!!!!! I can guarantee you that if they had more opportunities in their country, they would never leave their home!! oh & what is it that the statue of liberty says on the bottom?

I say deport the law breakers. They should take there kids back with them. Bush and Republicans who support Amnesty have shot themselves in the foot for 2008. This was a death blow.
Bush and Republicans want to Pardon law breakers like Libby.

There is no good situation, but i think they should all be sent back. If they would have come in legally, they wouldnt be having this problem. Its getting out of hand, but i think the answer has to be drastic.
