If you examine ALL of Jesus' words in the new testament and keep them within context, he himself makes clear that he is subordinate to his Father and that he is NOT God- While on earth AND after he was resurrected! I cannot believe what a foothold the trinity doctrine has on people despite what the bible itself teaches us! Here are some basic truths we learn from the bible;
1. God CANNOT die. Jesus died. Therefore, Jesus is NOT God.
2. God knows EVERYTHING. Jesus admits he doesn't know everything, only the Father (Matthew 24:36) Therefore, Jesus is NOT God.
3. God is not subject to anyone. The bible says that Jesus is subject to the Father (1 Corinthians 7:3). Therefore, Jesus is NOT God.
4. God was NOT created. Jesus was created (Colossians 1:15, Proverbs 8:22-31). Therefore, Jesus is NOT God.
These four things are undeniable, straightforward, and sound evidence that Jesus is NOT God. To try to create a "workaround" is to deny the truth.

Jehovah is the name of Almighty God (the Father).

Psalm 83:18 is especially noteworthy because it is one of only four times that the King James Version allows the Divine Name to survive that translation. The Divine Name (that is, the Tetragrammaton) appears in the original manuscripts of the bible nearly SEVEN THOUSAND TIMES, and refers to the Creator more often than the terms "God", "Lord", and "Father" COMBINED.

"The Tetragrammaton" is the term used to describe the four Hebrew characters (" הוהי ") of the Divine Name. The four characters are generally transliterated (that is, a Roman character familiar to readers of English is shown for the sound of each Hebrew character) as "YHWH" and pronounced something similar to "Yahweh" or "Yehowah". It is relatively straightforward to guess how the Hebrew pronunciation "Yehowah" became translated into the English pronunciation "Jehovah" more than 400 years ago.

The King James Version uses the name "Jehovah" these four times: Exodus 6:3; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 12:2; 26:4. A few place-names which include "Jehovah" are also left intact (see Genesis 22:14; Exodus 17:15; Judges 6:24).

The shortened form of "Jehovah" is "Jah". KJV uses "Jah" at Psalm 68:4, and within the exclamation "Hallelu-jah" (or "Alleluia"), which literally means "praise Jah" (see Revelation 19:1-6).

Jehovah has no beginning and no end , His son Jesus does!!! he was created by God himself and learn from his father in heaven, So therefore Jehovah and the Christ is not and never will be one GOD, but they work together as one along with God force the Holy Spirit. To know Jesus is to know God, meaning the Jesus was taught by his father Jehovah God to come here to teach us so we all become one, one with the father. Is it true we Christians must obey Jehovah he says follow my Son's examples and draw close to me

Yes you are correct. God's name is Jehovah. When the Bible was originally written the name, Jehovah, appeared in it thousands of times. Why not approach Jehovah's Witnesses in your area and ask for a Bible study. Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones that magnify God's name.

My Book says He's "most high over all the earth." Reading on, I come to Psalm 110:1, where it sounds like they've planned a transfer of power / authority at some point. Which is why I'm just crazy about the Father-Son-and Holy Spirit: throughout the Book they're always giving credit to each other. So much nicer than the rest of us, who are always grumping around about "who is the greatest."

Yeah, that's what I said. ( ur 2nd line)
I was Really surprised!
to find out that God has a personal name.
Then I decided I wanted to know more.
I wasn't raised Christian,
so I knew practically Nothing,
except what u hear everywhere.
Jesus is the Son of God, and
Jesus died for my sins and that
Jesus is supposed to come back,
& heaven & hell @ death.
I started reading on my own. No teacher.
And found out what an apostle is, a disciple of Jesus,
that Jehovah will take ppl from every nation, every tribe,
and every tongue a ppl for His name,
what the name Jehovah's Witness means, (n more)
then I got a teacher.
And found out what a sin is, how it is that he died for my sins,
all the stars have names, how to worship,
God's purpose for mankind, that Jesus is to return,
God promises everlasting life to those that excersize faith in His Son and obey Him, how to be a better wife, To Trust Jehovah-everything is for my benefit,
including refinement & discipline, be mild tempered- (I'm always working this 1 out)
have respect for myself, that I could live on earth for forever
in Paradise conditions, I (may*) can see my loved one's again in /after the resurrection, I learned that God can be caused pain-like touching ur eyeball pain, He really does love US and want each one of us to turn around and be spared destruction, that Satan is real, @ 1 time he (Satan) was allowed to go in and out of heaven, before the court of Jehovah, Jehovah protects us from Satan, we protect ourselves thru His Word; Now I not only know it; I Know It's True.
...and much, much more.

*may- I don't know if I'll make it, none of us do,
except those of the 144,000 that are spoken of in
Rev. 14:1-3;Rev. 5:10; Rev. 11:6 also see Heb. 12:22-24.

I agree that God and Jesus are not the same. I believe Jesus was a profit or teacher.
Check out Hosea 13:4.
God says he is the only one and there is no other savior but him. Don't thumbs down me, go read the Bible.

Jehovah is Jesus. Jesus was given the power and authority by the Father over this earth. (Remember God has created worlds without number...Jesus alone is the Most High over all the earth because the Father put Him there)

When the Psalms were written Jesus had not came into the World as a man yet. They had only prophesied about Him.
That being said, when Jesus was on earth in human form even He himself said, If you have known my father you have known me, I and my Father are one.
