Im a fitness instructor and i recommend you stay away from weight loss drugs as much as they may sound good they too more harm than good...
Best thing for loosing weight is eat 5-6 smaller meals a day instead of 3 larger meals and snacks....
Make sure you stay away from calories dont look at the fat content your food contains look at the calories and if it dosnt tell you the calories devide the kilojules by 3 and thats how many calories are in it....
Now do cardio half an our or more a day or atleast 3-4 times a week even if its just jogging around your house....
it wont happen over night but it WILL happen....
exercise exercise exercise and eat fruits and vegies... not chips and soft drink...

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! If you can do exercise, then walk for 45 seconds then run for 15 seconds. Repeat that pattern for at least 15 minutes or as long as you can.
If exercise is not for you, do not drink any soft drink or juice when you are eating. Only water. Do not eat any cheese or drink milk. Keep your body guessing what you are going to eat next. Eat a different kind of food everytime that you eat.
For example if you had cereal this morning, tomorrow morning have grits. That pattern must continue throughout the day. Good luck.
To avoid gaining water weight, drink water only when you eat. Forget about the saying that goes drink 6 glasses a day.

Eat plenty of fruits, veggies, and whole grains, and a little meat and low fat dairy. Get 40 minutes of cardio (walk, swim, bike, play basketball, run, etc.) 5 or 6 days a week, plus 20 minutes of toning, strengthening and stretching exercises 3 or 4 days a week (be sure to take a day off in between strengthening exercise days). Drink plenty of water, and you'll be amazed at the results. You will be healthier, happier, and slimmer and stronger. Go for it! It worked for me!
