Here's the catch -- you can carry all the balls you want, but they have to be the same ball. In other words, they have to be a Titleist 3, or whatever.
Pros then mark their golf balls in a distinctive way -- three dots in a triangle pattern with a blue marking pen, or something like that. The idea is that if you hit a ball into the woods, you have to find your ball (and be sure of it) rather than someone else's.

limit is depends how many can fit in the pockets of the bag and on your trousers.
only limit is they have a one ball rule., so if they are playing a nike one black, all other balls has tobe one black.
