Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe!

Jehovah's Witnesses love and respect and honor Christ. However, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.

(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation

(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.

(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God

(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God

(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth

(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak

(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am

(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him

(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father

(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God

(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.

(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah

(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

Thanks again for an opportunity to share what the bible actually says about the distinct persons of Jesus Christ the Son and Jehovah God the Father!

Well your verse is from the Old Testament! Jesus did not even come yet. And Heather did explain it nice, they are of One spirit. God did not commit suicide in the New Testament, he was killed by the sinners. The sinners he was dying for, so that they would come to believe in Him, the only God. He knew they would do this, that doesnt make it suicide, because Humans have free will. It got the point accross to most people. All you have to do is look to Him and he will save (help) You, because he already has shed his blood for you.

Is it the Christians practicing Pagan rituals, or Pagans practicing Christians rituals? Where is your proof? How old is your documentation? Oh thats right, there is none. And dont tell me its your book of shadows... The Bible has been in written hand since 200-150 B.C. and A.D. 325. Then printed on the press in 1450. This dramatically outdistances the existing fragments of any other ancient literature.

He did not kill himself. He was tried in a court of law and sentenced to death. I see that God knew this would happen. Still he did not do it to himself. Suicide is an act of selfishness and cowardliness. God allowed his son/himself incarnate to be murdered for US. In order to be rose from the dead you have had to of lived. Where in the Bible do you find suicide as "going to hell"???????

If you go to the grave of Buddha for example, you will find his remains. If you go to the grave of Jesus, it will be empty. He rose from the DEAD.

God's name is Jehovah in the Bible. That is His name. That does not mean he is a Jehovah's witness. Jehovah's witness do not believe in the trinity. They do not believe that Jesus was the son of God, or God incarnate. They will say he was a good man, a prophet, but not God. Well how can Jesus be either if he was a liar? He made many statements saying that he was God. He never denied that he said it. How can he be a good man or a prophet and lie? Jesus said, " I am the way, the truth and the life. No One get's to the father but through the son." Did he lie? NO
We call God Jehovah in our church, we are NOT Jehovah's Witness. We are nondenominational.

Your statement about holidays are as if you think ALL Christians celebrate what you call pagan ritual's. How can you proclaim to know what ALL Christians celebrate. Blanket statements like that invalidate your opinions because that is ignorant. Do you find holidays in the Bible? Does God praise people for the celebration of holidays? does he persecute them for it?

An egg is one thing. It has 3 parts. Yolk, white, shell. Without the 3 there is no egg. God is the same 1 entity, 3 parts. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Actually it is a very good question! And it makes sense. However God and Jesus are the same in the same sense that 2 people make up one. I really can't explain this to well, I hope someone will be able to. Jesus tho was God's Son and so God sent His only Son to die. In order to save us God had to have the perfect sacrifice and Jesus was the flawless sinless Sacrifice. So it wasn't suicide. I know this is all hard to understand, I hope I could kinda get the idea across.

Sheesh, somebody's been doin alot of thinkin here huh! lol Here first let me uncross my eyes!
Yes, Jesus is God, and Jesus is also separate from God, He is God's Son. The Scriptures also say that Jesus was with God in the beginning, that He was watching as God created the world. Jesus is God, He says "When you see the me, you see the Father" but He is also God's Son.
The Scriptures and Christianity are believed by faith in the Son of God, it is faith, it is believing. When I came to Christ and became a Christian, spiritually it was so overwhelming, that nothing needed to be "proven" to me, I believed right away, partly because it was something that God did inside my heart at the time that I knew was real. One can't deny something that is real, an experience that is like no other.

It was Jesus Christ in His humanity that he suffered our sins on the cross. (Even the torturing to death an innocent person.) Yes. He was a victim of our most evil sins.

Compare the genocide that happened in Rawanda. The children machetede to death. Now. Did those innocent children commit suicide & go to hell for that?

The worst sin to torture children to death, the LORDs own people had sacrificed children through the fire to devils. So, God let the heathen nations overtake them. But, God provided a way. Jesus became a victim of this himself. He was lifted up for all the world to see. God is not blind that people have been torturing innocent people to death & ruled people with the fear of death. Well, Jesus was innocent. Because He Is without sin in His humanity, He raised from the dead (the wages of sin is death & Jesus Is sinless). So? But Jesus also said on the cross, "Forgive them, they dont know what they do.". So, even this worst sin can be covered by His blood through confession & faith.

Jesus is the Word of God. Yahweh Elohim (LORD God). God the Father, Word & Holy Spirit. This is the fulness of God. The fulness of God is greater than the Word of God. But even in Jesus Humanity, He suffered our sins on the cross & raised from the dead. And God has highly exalted Him (in His resurrected humanity) with the Name above all names (Yahweh). That at the Name of Yeshua (Jesus) every knee shall bow & tongue confess Yeshua Messiah is Yahweh.

Also an elderly Jewish Rabi having dreams, had recently passed away had come to the conclusion that the Messiah's Name is Yehoshua. See the Yah of Yahweh in that? That is Yeshua when He comes back, Yahoshua.

Fantastic questions I must say. First of all with God all things are possible. Jesus did go to hell when he died on the cross. Prior to Jesus dying on the cross, all mankind was sent to hell. By Jesus offering himself as the ultimate sacrifice, he destroyed death as they knew it. Jesus went to hell to free all of those in "Abraham's bosum". Hell was a temporary place for the people that died, hell was meant for Satan and his followers not for humans. So now when people die they will be in a state of sleep until the time of Judgement. You are right when you say the Christian community says that Jesus is God, but Jesus and the Father are two seperate entities of a one unified person. With God all things are possible. We as humans look to logic but that is human logic not truth from above. We can only understand the things from our own point of view because we are relying soley on our known senses. God did however give us more we just don't understand or accept the fact that they exist inside of us. The whole idea of God sending himself to die on the cross does sound like suicide. Let us say that we are invaded and attacted by another nation or group and the purpose is to overthrow our government and system. My house is under fire and a Marine unit in the area is engaged in combat. A Marine decides he has no other choice but to personally engage the last two enemies. The Marine in question risk his life knowingly to help save our family and possibly the neighborhood. He is shot and killed in the process and he accomplishes his goal by killing the two enemies. We are saved and the dead Marine, does he go to Heaven or to hell for the sake of mankind. You can answer the question if it was your family. As long as people celebrate the true meening of what is meant to celebrate, they need to work that out on their own.

No, my question is what is so great about a god sacrificing him self if he cannot die? Seems rather pointless and melodramatic.

Excellent point on the pagan rituals. The christian religion was formed by a Roman politician for political control purposes. The pagan stuff was grafted on for the same reason.

If you consider sacrificing your life for another person to be suicide, then yes. But isn't suicide when you actually take your own life? Jesus was killed by Romans. He didn't kill himself.
