It seems that human nature is programmed to destroy itself.
Its a constant, OK what do you wanna do next scenario...
We love problems in our lives its very true a
fine example is why do atheist come in this section if theres no god? Of course to find problems or create problems.
People read the bible everyday because of
problems in their lives and when they find peace from the bible what do you know they have to blow up issues even bigger to
create more problems so they can be like everybody else.
But what makes the bible so intriguing?
Because it is the only book which
describes the intent of man kinds heart.
It shows the beginnings of evil and the aftermath of living such a life. Its like no scenario is left out.
If you study the bible in its entirety you will
find every aspect of evil and where it was born and where it will go.
If you study the world and its evil in its entirety you will know what god accepts and what he doesnt accept and you can see him at work everyday changing the hearts of the wicked.
You could say money is the grease of the world system, or study the intent of god in the affairs of the world and get out of making costly mistakes.

Don't just use this for your report but apply it to your life.
1. It makes you wise.
2. It tells you about your Creator - God
3. It makes you aware of Christ and His teachings. He has promised eternal life to all who will believe, accept and be baptized.
4. It also gives comfort. The Beattitudes in Matthew 5. and Psalms
5. It gives you the history of Jews.
6. It tells of the Last day events. (Which are actually being fulfilled.)
7. It is a guide for living. It ells us how to live with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
8. It tells how this earth came into being.
I encourage you to visit A Seventh Day Adventist Church and to start reading your Bible

To find out what it actually says. Rather that the pop culture version that seems to permeate things. Then you need to study what it means in the context of the times that it was written and to it self. Then, perhaps some commentaries and scholarly (not necessarily Christian) dissertations on the subject matter. Then you will know what it says, not what divergent groups claim it says. Not an easy task, actually.

What kind of article?
For a religious purpose?
If for a religion class or report of some sort, because that is one major way you learn about God. God also speaks to you through scripture. The Bible is like a life manual in a Christian's life.

The Bible is God's spoken Word in print. It has everything in it to help us lead the kind of life we need to have in order to bring others to love and worship Him. The Bible outlines how to live life in the right way and how to solve some of the problems we have living in an imperfect world.

I read the bible, because it is the word of God. I want to know Him, if you want a relationship, you must communicate and show that you care about the other person. Same goes for God and us, it's a love story. God bless

The best reason to read the bible is to see all the absolute craziness that's in there that we are expected to just swallow. It was reading the bible that actually made me discard it...
I daresay that most Christians haven't actually read the entire bible, or they might be surprised what they find in there.
