The xanax were mine, my boyfriend had them in his pocket. I have proof from the pharmacist of my perscription and everything. They weren't in the bottle though, they were loose in my console and he put them in his pocket (3.5-.5's) so our kids wouldn't put them in their mouth.

Doesn't matter. Either way, if you were caught with someone else's prescription drugs, the court will use the sentencing guidelines it has available.

A "no contest" plea lessens YOUR options further down the road. It still compels the judge to find you guilty in most cases but it also can never be withdrawn or changed.

this all depends on situation when u were found with the narcotics! if you where carring them "for a friend" than u should be fine, if you where found on the "strip" with way more than needed and had lots of money on you that you can not claim -you in trouble- well a little!!

always plead no-contest...it makes it harder to find you liable in civil cases that could arise from criminal charges. not impossible by any means, but more difficult
